Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend Shift Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Weekend Requirement 2 Weekends per schedule
Holiday Requirement Work into the perm staff holiday schedule
Previous Employment Requirements:
Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years
Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years
Ratio: 1:4-6 for 'Floor
Unit Details: Unit 7 WEST (Stepdown & Floor) # of beds 32 Total Beds (12 are Stepdown & 20 are 'Floor')
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:
Typical MedSurg population. Chest Pain, COPD, AMS, Pneumonia, UTI, Abdominal Pain, Overflow for most services, hospice (will 'flip' patients to GIP Hospice on 7 West)
Common titratable &/or set rate drips Yes - Drips in Stepdown, floor only gets PCAs, heparin, etc.
Skills Required: They have Tele. RN's must be able to read strips in conjunction with the telemetry monitor techs that continuously monitor strips
Float Requirement: Can be pulled to any floor or stepdown unit
