Requirements
Experience
18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license

Vaccinations

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- trach chare, chest tube management, PIV starts, glucommander, insulin drips, heparin drips, drips to titrate to HR NOT BP
- IV insertion and Maintenance skills
- Cardiac monitoring and interpretation
Required Credentials:
- Associate's degree at a minimum
- BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) – test completed during onboarding
Unit/Facility Details: Have free parking around campus or can pay to park in parking decks
Special Requests: Holiday Requirements: work one shift of each major holiday (Thanksgiving Day or day after + 12/24 or 12/25 + 12/31 or 1/1
Shift & Scheduling:
- 36 or 48 hours are available.
- On Call, Call Back Requirements: None
- Weekend Rotation: 6 shifts in a 6 week schedule (6 out of 12 shifts)
Floating Requirements: All med surg/ telemetry units
