Required Skills/Experience: Years of experience REQ: 2 Years / Strong Ventilator Experience required.
-Skills REQ: Work Settings: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry. Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring. Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management. Genitourinary/Renal: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure. IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. MEDICATIONS: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, PCA, Titrate Cardiac drips. Neurological/Psychiatric: CVA, Traumatic Brain injury. Respiratory: Care of Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management. Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Patient Diagnoses: Pulmonary Stepdown, Intermediate Care, Ventilated trach pts, copd, pulm patients, airvo, bipap pulm valve placement, cpap, resp tx high acuity pts. Special Procedures/Unit Details: endobronchial valves, ventilators.
Unit/Facility Details: Ratios: 1:4. *NOTE: On rare occasions, Ratio could flex to 1:6 and travelers will be expected to take the extra patients. -Parking Cost – Free
