Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

60 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System) is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

NRP (Required)

Advanced AWHONN FHM (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Flu declinations accepted on condition traveler wears a mask at all times.

15-minute call response time for all units with a call requirement.

Obu / L&D RN - Required

Registered Nurse needed for L&D, Post Partum rooms, BFHI, babies room in with moms

Average 40 deliveries per month, average 6 C-sections per month.

May have to cover as charge nurse, after charge nurse training, on occasion.

Required Certification:

ACLS or ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics)

May substitute RNC-EFM for AWHONN FHM

Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work.

This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or could be task-oriented such as answering call lights, phones, etc.

Orientation: on Mondays only

Shift Information:

Must be flexible to work other shifts, holidays and weekends, as needed.
