Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

BSN completion preferred

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a District of Columbia license

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Shift & Scheduling: 36Hrs or 48Hrs D/N or E/N Day shift hours are 0630-1900. Evening shift hours are 1100-2330. 4 weekend shifts per contract

Preferred Skills/Experience: Willing to submit a clinician with 1.5 yrs of strong exp Skills Required: Circulate Skills Preferred: Scrub, C-EFM through NCC

Parking is on campus so there is no shuttle schedule to worry about after an evening shift.

Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.
