An interview may not be available prior to offer.

ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.

No block scheduling.

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, traveler has 2 attempts.

Pass fail exam on day 1 of orientation

All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks

Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts in 8 week period

Holiday Requirements: Work into core rotation

Float Requirement: Yes, any MedSurg unit

Common Diagnoses: 90% neuro population, low stimulation area, TBI, brain tumor resection, CVA, lung transplant, liver transplant

Orientation Hours: 12 Hours

Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts

Special Requirement: Travel Teams must have their own vehicles.
