Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

No Block Scheduling requests. Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Equipment Used on Unit: Baxter pumps, Hamilton vents, GE cardiac monitors, Stryker stretchers

Required Skills/Experience: Compassion, Sense of Urgency, Skills in rapidly identifying Sepsis, STEMI, Stroke and Trauma

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with airway management/ventilators

Unit Details: Number of Beds - 15

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, no on-call
