Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience.

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Ventilator management, titrating continuous medications, managing ICU patients. Preferred Skills/Experience: ICU.

Types of Patients on Unit: Serves all ages.

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 6

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: alternating weekends. Call Requirements: As Needed/ Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital when on call.

Floating Requirements: The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities. Float Requirements: As Needed/May be required to float to Medsurg, ER, etc.
