Start times can vary from 7am, 9am and 11am. 12 hour shifts
Patient Diagnoses: Orthopedics (total joints and ortho trauma); Neurosurgery, Vascular, Robotics, General, GU & GYN
Types of Cases REQ: Outpatient, Community Hospital, ORTHO, Neuro, Vascular experience required
Types of Cases Preferred: Inpatient, Trauma
Weekend REQ: Yes, 3 per schedule
Is on-call REQ? One weeknight per week, and every 2nd or 3rd Sat or Sun from 0700 - 0700 (20 min response time)

Community Hospital Experience: Preferred
Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
Required: Case Cart, Crash Cart, Scrub
Preferred: Craniotomy, Airway Management
Special Equipment:
Preferred: Stealth Navigation Station, daVinci Xi
Required: Microscope; Laparoscopic camera and tower equipment; arthroscope equipment
RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Return Staff Policy: 3 months to return as traveler
BLS must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.
