Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

IV Therapy Certification (Required)

Additional Details:

May request one holiday off per assignment and are expected to work every other holiday.

MS/Neuro.

Must have Missouri IV Cert listed on Nursys or a certificate of endorsement in hand to apply. To obtain a certificate of endorsement, go to Cass Career Center – they are MO approved school. Cass will review the current IV cert to ensure the education meets MO standards. They will issue a new IV Cert for MO within a few days.

Weekends Every Other.

Holidays Rotating.

• Type of Patients on Unit: Neuro-surgical

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.

• Weekend Hours: As needed.

• Call Requirements: None.

• Required Certifications: MO Approved IV Certification.

• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year + inpatient Acute Care Med Surg and Neuro.

• Float Requirements: As needed within scope.

• Equipment: FIT test will be required on site.

• Scrub Color: Black.
