Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

36 months of Long Term Care experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Declinations not accepted.

COVID booster required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Duration: Up to 32 weeks

Schedule: Every other weekend, Monday to Sunday

Holidays: Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 — Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day

No block schedules for any reason

Floating required

Travelers must be willing to float to other units as needed

LTC experience required

All units have dementia patients — travelers must be comfortable working with this population

IVS to OFFER

Ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained

Facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit

Public transportation is NOT accessible — reliable transportation required (personal vehicle or rental vehicle strongly recommended)

Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November–April
