Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 36 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: Need at least a years worth of acute care experience within the past two years. One year of unit experience must be within the last two years.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: Saturday Day will be Scheduled (every other weekend). Every other Weekend. Call Requirements: Yes - Rotating.

**Floating Requirements: Yes. Will float to Bramhall PACU/IMC/ICU. Candidate must float as needed.

Unit Details: Number of Beds: 40 pre post beds 9 overnight bays ( 23-hour short stay embedded)

Patient Ratios: 2:1 Phase 1 Care (up to 3-4 in 23-hour stay).

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read tele strips. Pre-Operative and Post Operative; ICU experience. Pre and Post Procedure TEE/CV/ CATH/EP OR Procedures. Cardiac Drips, IVS, Tele Monitory, PH 1 Care, Groin management, EKGS.

Type of Patients on Unit: Cath/EP/ TEE Cardioversion OR procedures Pre-Post Vascular, Robotic TAVRS, Pediatric CATHs.

Equipment Used on Unit: IV PUMPS, PCAS, Epidurals, A lines, Tele Monitoring, TEE/CV.
