Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license

Additional Details:

We are seeking a RN with the following experience:
-Post-op cardiac procedures -TR Band care and interventions -Acute chest pain -Cardiac drips, Heparin drips -Ability to measure and interpret a telemetry rhythm -Team nursing approach Our Cardiac Telemetry unit is made of 59 beds, over 3 units on one floor. The team is supported by a Nurse Manager, Unit Based Educator, Unit Coordinator (Charge RN) out of staffing and Patient Care Techs (CNAs).

Weekend Rotation: Required

Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs

Floating Requirements: Will float to all acute care units

Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years recent Telemetry experience, TR Band and Cardiac Drip experience | Must have experience caring for a patient straight from procedure with TR Band

Experience Preferred: 3- 5 years of TEL experience
