Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Transitional Care Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have 1 year strong cardiac experience (cardiac sdu/intermediate cardiac/cardiac icu) & 2 years imc/pcu/tele experience required. Candidates cannot move forward in the interview process without experience without Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips.

Required Credentials: Must be able to pass EKG test 1st week of hire, Associate Degree or Certificate

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor's Degree

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure, Fem Pop Bypass.

Unit/Facility Details: 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown. Fast paced, high patient turnover.

Special Requests: Can submit with a block scheduling request - The facility will always try and honor, but never guarantee. An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday, travelers can be put on call during the 36 hours of unbillable low census. If called back in, they will have call back pay.

Floating Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed
