Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required from last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.
Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: -Required Skills: Work Settings, Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Central line care/management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Cardiovascular, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Sheath Removal, Plastics, Surgical drains, Medications, Titrate Cardiac drips -Skillset Requirements: Cardiac PCU, Drips, Post Cath Lab, IV Starts, and Sheath Pulls

Required Credentials: -Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. -License: Must be in hand prior to start date. Temporary licenses may be obtainable once perm license applications have been submitted.

Unit/Facility Details: Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**

Shift & Scheduling: Must be flexible with weekend requirements, weekend requirement will be based on unit needs. Travelers must be able to work 50% of the weekends in their contract.

Floating Requirements: Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
