Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
10 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Open to accommodating block schedule: Per manager discretion

Hard stop: labor and post-partum experience is required

Orientation: 36 hrs

Guaranteed Hours: facility is able to call off once per two weeks' pay period

Scrub Color: Royal Blue or Navy blue

Orientation Hours: 36

Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adults

Daily Census: 12

Patient Diagnoses: This is a LDRP position, clinician must hold Labor and delivery experience and post-partum experience

Strong Precepting skills is a Plus

Holidays: traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Return Staff Policy: 3 months to return as traveler

BLS, ACLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
