Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Physical Therapy experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: -Willingness to work on IRF unit. -Critical thinking/clinical reasoning.

Preferred Skills/Experience: -Hospital/IRF experience (highly preferred). -Stroke/neuro experience.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
-Evaluation, treatment, discharge -Team conferences, family training -Adaptive devices and equipment

Equipment Used on Unit: Type of equipment – 2 therapy gyms, Vector, LiteGait, ADL Apartment.

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds – Facility features 28 bed IRF and 383 acute care hospital (avg census 240). Patient Ratios – 4 patients/day (IRF) 8-12 patients/day (acute care)

Shift & Scheduling: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and Holidays in rotation with Hospital employees. 1 weekend shift/month policy.
