Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 22 months of Case Management experience.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Emergency Room Care Manager

Required Skills/Experience: Inpatient Acute care experience is required and is a HARD STOP

Units served include ICU, PCU, ED, Family Birth, Adult Medical.

Acute Hospital, Case Management/Utilization Review, Audits, Care coordination, Discharge Planning, Needs Assessment/Order DME, Plan of Care, Regulatory, Emergency Department, ICU, MS, SDU/PCU/IMC/Obs

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, DRG (Diagnosis Related Groups), HIPAA guidelines (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), OSHA: Occupational Safety and Health Administration

Required Credentials: All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.

Clinician must have reliable transportation; travel pairs require separate vehicles.
