Requirements

Experience

36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience.

BSN completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

CNOR (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Previous Employment Requirements: RNs only: If CA state licensure is 3 months or less from expiration, proof that the renewal process has been initiated is required to apply

Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac experience

Ability to Scrub & Circulate Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic procedures.

Strong general surgery & abdominal transplant skills

Previous Charge Experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

-Liver transplant

-kidney transplant

-bariatric procedures

-emergency GYN only

-Cystos, stent placements, stone removals

-Clipping

-Fusions

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics

Patient Diagnoses:

-Liver failure

-kidney failure

-Obesity

-Ovarian torsion or unwanted pregnancy

-Urology issues

-Brain aneurysm

-Spine issues

Equipment Used on Unit: Davinci Xi Robot

Unit/Facility Details: Unit specializes in Neuro-Crani, Spine/Ortho, GS/GU, GYN, Transplant, Vascular, Thoracic and Robotic services.

Special Requests: An interview may not be given prior to an offer being made.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Coverage- Every Other

Floating Requirements: Must be willing and able to float to other UCSF facilities.
