Requirements

Experience

18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required skills and experience: Basic Med/Tele skillset: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating Cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), wound care, drain/tube management, PIV starts, Central line management, etc.

Shift & schedule requirements: Every other weekend. Travelers will work 75% of holidays. 36 or 48 hours are available.

Floating requirements: Within region and scope of practice. Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice

▪ Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central
Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)
▪ If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)

Special request requirements: RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours
