Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Mother/Baby experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy blue scrub pants. Shirt color of choice.

Weekends Required

No On Call Required

Flexible for day and night shifts (07-1930 & 19-0730).

Every other weekend, no on call.

Postpartum experience.

Hired for 6th floor (Maternal Fetal Newborn), may float to 7th floor (Mother Baby Unit) to care for same patient population.

Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing.

Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of mother-baby antepartum and nursery areas.

Required Education: -Minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Preferred Education: -Bachelors degree in nursing.
