No local – We do not contract staff residing in the following counties : Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris.

Block Schedules: No

Float Required to units of equal or lesser acuity

Weekend shifts per contract: Half of scheduled shifts

Skills Required: Med/surg, use of rapid response teams, colostomy care, feeding tube care, blood product administration, central line blood draw, periphereal line management, PICC line management, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Nasal Cannula, oral suctioning, oxygen face masks portable oxygen tank, isolation precautions

2 West C is a medical – surgical unit composed of twelve private rooms and two semi-private rooms. 2 West C has 12 private rooms and 2 semi-private rooms for a potential maximum census of 16 patients. 2 West C is a medical - surgical unit with telemetry capabilities that focuses on patients with vascular disease diagnoses. The patients admitted to this unit range from young adulthood through geriatrics. Admissions may also include other medical-surgical, telemetry overflow.

Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: Half of contract shifts

Orientation Hours: 16

Patient Age Groups: Adults

Daily Census: 16

Required: Drivers License/State ID

BLS from RQI or the American Safety and Health Institute is also accepted
