Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 36 months of Respiratory Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: 7p - 7:30a

Every other weekend required.

There is no call requirement.

Holiday coverage required.

Required Skills/Experience: Current Epic EMR proficiency is required (refresher classes or having someone sit 1:1 with them are NOT options), so please ensure that this is documented in the referral information.

Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience is required (must be able to read Telemetry; they will be tested for this skill on day one and will be terminated if they cannot pass the competency; will also be terminated if we discover they are not Epic proficient).

Floating Requirements: May also float occasionally between various Med-Surg units (Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, ED/Med-Surg boarders, etc.).

Unit Details: Will work primarily on the Respiratory unit (where COVID patients are admitted)

Special Requests: Unless the RN is a returning Genesis traveler from within the last 9 months, October 20th is the ONLY start date we can offer.
