An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Skills/Experience: Oncology experience
Preferred Skills/Experience: 1 year on MSO Unit
Required Credentials: Associate Degree or Certificate. AACN Certification.
Types of Patients on Unit: Patient population mainly consists of surgical oncology and medical oncology patients. Very small population coming in to receive chemo treatments.
Equipment Used on Unit: Rovers for medication scanning, Alaris pumps.
Special Requests: Can submit with a block scheduling request - The facility will always try and honor, but never guarantee.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday
Floating Requirements: Will float as needed to other areas and care for patients within scope, can float in 4 hour blocks and will float before staff RNs.
