Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained.

Preferred Credentials: Prefers one of the following along with the required: Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS DMS by MIRTP NMED

Types of Patients on Unit: Hospital and outpatients

Temp to perm is a possibility

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: None On Call Requirement: None

Nurse / Patient Ratio: Expectations are at least one study completed per hour

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required

Required Skills/Experience: Basic computer experience required
