Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
24 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
BSN completion required
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license

Additional Details:

Dates: 9/9/25 – 1/3/26 Shift: 12H Rotating or 12H Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Float Requirement: As needed

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday, days or nights)

On Call Requirement: None

Will consider increased staff experience in lieu of little to no travel experience.

2+ years in a comparable PICU as staff RN

Experience caring for patients from birth to 21 years with diagnoses including (but not limited to):

Common diagnoses: Respiratory: nasal cannula, Trilogy BiPap/CPap, all ventilators, Chronic childhood diseases, Sepsis, TBI, DKA, seizure disorders, Oncology, metabolic disorders, NAT, Surgical patients: neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, general surgery

Prefer 2+ years staff experience

1 year travel experience in teaching facility PICU

Float Eligibility: ○ Eligible to float to all inpatient care areas (including critical care and acute care floors) ○ Travelers do not float to ED, OR, or inpatient Psych

FLOAT: Client reserves the right to float or reassign Personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence to fulfill the scheduled guaranteed hours and within thirty-five (35) miles of their originally assigned facility (unless otherwise agreed to in such Personnel’s individual assignment confirmation).

No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment.
