Travel Nurse (RN) - Case Management

Required Skills/Experience: -Acute care case management experience is a must. -Healthcare financial and reimbursement knowledge. -Will do post-discharge planning and provide resources for post-discharge. There is info for community resources that will be provided.

Preferred Skills/Experience: ER and Utilization Review experience.

Required Credentials: NURSYS.

Unit/Facility Details: Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? No, 2 years of recent acute inpatient case management experience required. 4 years of overall nursing experience required. 130 beds. Level 4 Trauma Center Certified geriatric ED.

Special Requests: Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will NOT be considered. Approval of RTO: to go through manager. All RTO must be requested up front.

Shift & Scheduling: Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Every other. On call? No. Holiday Expectations: Will be required to work at least 1 holiday, can work more if wanted. Shift times: Typically, five 8h shifts. The most amount of shifts they will be scheduled to work in a row is 6 Schedule cycle: Manager will make the schedule. Will get the schedule several weeks prior to schedule start.

Floating Requirements: Floating: If yes, where? -Between Allenmore, Tacoma General and possible OCED in Federal Way and Bremerton (June 2025). Traveler first to float if needed. -Manager will let traveler know at beginning of shift if they’re going to be floated.
