Requirements
Experience
60 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 36 months of Nurse Management experience.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Illinois license

No block scheduling requests will be accepted.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift: Alternating depending on need- 8p-8.30a or midnight-8.30a Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend / 2 weekends per month

Special Requests: No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.

Floating Requirements: Cook has the ability to request that any clinician float outside of their “home” facility as long as the floating does not exceed 50 miles. Travelers may receive notification to float 2 hours before their shift. If your clinician refuses to float, they will be subject to cancelation. There are no home units. Your clinician could be floated to a variety of units, including outside of their primary area of competency. If they are floated outside of their primary competency, the team-based model will be used.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience in nursing supervision/management or hospital administration with experience in dealing with staffing shortages, nursing personnel issues, resolving patient flow problems, and responding to facilities emergencies

Parking Cost: $2/day at Juvenile Temporary Detention Center (JTDC). A shuttle runs every 15 minutes between Stroger and JTDC
