Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Mother-Baby/Couplet Care experience.
3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license

2 years: advocating/attending deliveries/newborn transition experience

Medication & Administration: Antihypertensives

Newborn Care General Skills: Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post-op, Car Seat Education, Cord Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Infant Identification, IV Antibiotics, Metabolic Screen, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Newborn Assessment, Phototherapy, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Thermoregulation

Post Partum Care and Procedures: Bladder assessment/Foley Catheter Insertion, Breast engorgement, Breast feeding instructions, Breast Milk Collection and Storage, Couplet Care, Episiotomy / incision care, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Use of electric/ manual breast feeding pump

Postpartum Care of the Patient with: Cesarean Section, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Vaginal Delivery

Professional Topic and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Phlebotomy, Vaccine Administration

Care of the Newborn with: Large for gestational age, Low birth weight infants, Newborn hypoglycemia

Work Settings: Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, Special Care Nursery/Level II

Pain Management: Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Post-epidural management

Special Requests: In addition to a valid driver's license, you must include a utility bill in your application. The bill must be in your name & match the address on your driver's license (and issued within the last 3 months).

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every Other

Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request

Floating Requirement: Occasionally float to do PP

All candidates must be willing to float to other areas – even if that is another Integris facility, up to 75 miles.
