Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40

Every other weekend

Weekend Hours: Call

Call Requirements: Yes, 0700-0700 aprox 7 call days per month

Float Requirements: Pre-Op/Admissions, phase 2

Additional Notes: The Endo team assists the pre-op team with admissions and phase 2 when they are not in Endo

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Adult, Geriatric

Must Have Skills/Experience: Endoscopy

Preferred Skillset/Experience: Familiarity with Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, Peg Tubes

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR

Required Education: ADN
