Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Preferred 24 months of Emergency Department experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Experience with Omnicell is preferred from any number of months.

Experience with Alaris is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of ED experience Excluding travel experience is most preferred. If they have 1.5 years of ED experience Excluding travel and have 2 years of experience outside of ED, please have CRT send to management team for approval. Skills: ESI assessments during Triage.

Required Credentials: Education: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing.

Unit/Facility Details: Free Parking.

Special Requests: No requests will be considered during the first 3 weeks of August annually – Sturgis Bike Rally.

Shift & Scheduling: Shifts Times: 0630-1900,1000-2230,1200-0030, 1400-0200 and 1830-0700 – if working variable shifts, will not work both Days and Nights in the same week. Traveler could potentially work every weekend, depends on staffing. They will be used to fill holes in the perm staff schedule. Holiday Expectations: Only if needed.

Floating Requirements: Could float to inpatient Med/Surg, PCU or ICU areas only as a task nurse (not to take an assignment).
