Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 10 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

ASN completion required

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license

Neuro Surgical Specialty (NAH)

Unit Details: This is a 34 beds

Required Skills/Experience: Two (2) years of acute care RN experience. Skills: traction, PCA, trach, EKG, feeding tubes.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Neuro institute, optional neuro cert class , RN doesn’t read tele , Dx: spine/neuro surg (not stroke)

Equipment Used on Unit: Equip: lumbar/JP drains, wound vac.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, need is for 6-8 weeks.

Required Credentials: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree (ASN).
