Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience within the past 3 years.

BSN completion required

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

Additional Details:

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

For units that auto offer : A maximum of 5 days RTO and no holidays will be approved automatically. RTO over 5 days and holiday requests will have to be reviewed by the facility, which will delay the process.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Each applicant must have a minimum of 2 years vent management and telemetry experience

• A minimum of two years of experience on a Med-Surg, Progressive Care, and/or Stepdown unit in a hospital setting

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekly start dates

• 4–6 weeks on average needed to complete compliance

• Call Requirement: None

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
