Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
BSN completion preferred
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills/Experience: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Work Settings, Cardiac Telemetry, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Respiratory, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Tracheostomy care/management, Neurological/Psychiatric, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, Medications, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, PCA, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Orthopedics, Ortho trauma, Total Joint Replacements, Cardiovascular, Post MI, Genitourinary/Renal, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Plastics, Surgical drains
