Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Hawaii license

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Progressive Care Unit. 15 bed unit. 3 Step down ICU; 12 telemetry. 1:4 for Progressive Care; 1:3 for Step down ICU

Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation.

No guarantee of hours. no Call.

At least 1 year hospital acute care within the last year. Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred.

Floating to other units/departments: Yes, will float to all acute units in house. Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU and ER possible

Dress Code: Scrubs

General job duties. Types of procedures required: Primary Nursing care, Telemetry monitoring, Telemetry strip reading, Fingerstick blood sugar.

Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Meditech charting, Pyxis for medications, BIPAP, Continuous cardiac monitoring
