Coverage: 3 days per week at LFH, 2 days per week at CRH (subject to caseload needs).
Traveling between facilities mid-day is not expected except in rare cases.
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
On-Call: None Setting & Caseload
Caseload: Minimum of 7–8 patients per day, including both outpatients and inpatients, with most being outpatient.
Age Groups: Must be fully competent to treat patients from at least age 3 through advanced age.
Typical Diagnoses: Swallowing disorders (acute and chronic), speech and language impairments, neurological conditions (e.g., strokes, Parkinsonism), developmental delays, dysphagia, fluency, and diet selection/recommendations.
Skills & Experience: Must have experience working independently. Should be skilled in swallow evaluations and treatment, as well as outpatient swallow and language evaluation and treatment. FEES, trach/vent, and MBSS experience are not required as these services are not currently oered at LFH or CRH.
