Travel Nurse (RN) - Neurologic Intensive Care Unit

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required skills and experience: 2 years required for submission (within specialty submitting to) We will still sub 1.5 Yrs if Level I or travel exp. Neuro ICU exp Required. Neurological, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Work Settings, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, IV therapy, Arterial line management, Central line care/management, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Respiratory/Thoracic, Care of Ventilated Patient, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE.

Preferred skills and experience: ICP monitoring, Post Neurosurgery management

Required credentials: Drivers License/State ID. Government issued photo ID. NIHSS can be APEX, AHA, ACME or Blue Cloud.

Shift & schedule requirements:

• Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
• Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
• Weekend REQ: Every other.

Floating requirements: ICU, PCU

Special request requirements: If traveler has any vacation plans during the period between sign date and start date, this must be communicated to the AM at the time of submission to ensure a realistic start date may be requested.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
