RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
-If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).
Must have scrub experience
Weekend req: Weekends availability is required.
Is on-call req: Yes, on call is required. The standard cardiac call is 1 weekday call (M-Th) a week, plus 1 Weekend a month (F, Sat, Sun) (Dependent on Staff).
Floating may be required to the general OR.
Open to accommodating block schedule: Yes, the manager would be accommodating on case-by-case basis.
Special Procedures: CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, Carotid Cutdown, VATS, RATS, Mediastinoscopy, Pericardial Windows, Tamponade, and Minimally invasive cardiac procedures.

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)
Background Policy to be noted prior to submission: Please notify of BG or Nursys hits at time of submittal; can submit with BG/Nursys hits, but must present to client for written approval.
Return Staff Policy: 3 month rule to return as traveler
BLS, ACLS, PALS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
