Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience.

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

IV Therapy Certification (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Declinations not accepted.

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

M/S Neuro

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 1 year + inpatient Acute Care Med Surg and Neuro. Clinic, SNF or MD office not sufficient

Required Credentials:

• MO Approved IV Certification. Please ask if unsure about this requirement.

• FIT test will be required on site

Unit/Facility Details:

• Must have Missouri IV Cert listed on Nursys or a certificate of endorsement in hand to apply. To obtain a certificate of endorsement, go to Cass Career Center – they are MO approved school. Cass will review the current IV cert to ensure the education meets MO standards. They will issue a new IV Cert for MO within a few days.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Hours: As needed

• Weekends: On Request. Holidays: Rotating.

• No on call.
