Required Skills and Experience: Have at least 1 year of Maternal-Fetal medicine or 4 years of Obstetrics experience. Will perform 1st trimester OB scans, anatomy scans (including detailed scans-76811), OB follow ups, BPP’s, UA Dopplers, MCA Dopplers, Nuchal Translucency, Multiples, GYN exams (Transvaginal or Transabdominal), Saline Infusion Sonography and ultrasound guided IUD placement and removals. Prepares patients for ultrasound exams and for physicians. Explains procedures to the patient prior to performing test. Conducts diagnostic ultrasound exams and records anatomy, pathology and physiological data to interpreting physician (Detailed or Level II exams, Growth ultrasounds, BPP’s, Doppler studies of umbilical artery and middle cerebral artery, fetal echocardiograms, cervical lengths, transvaginal exams incluing gynecological). Assists physician during invasive procedures requiring ultrasound guidance (amniocentesis, D&C, Twin deliveries). Create and prep ultrasound reports using digital reporting system.
Required Credentials: Certified Nuchal Translucency Scan (NTQR) via FMF Certificate. Must have ARDMS or ARDMS in OB/GYN to qualify.
Shift & Scheduling Requirements: Varing day shifts range from 8 hrs to 9 hrs M- F or four 10 hour days 6:45 am – 5:15 pm. Day off varies depending on staffing needs. Outreach services 10 – 12 hrs days- requires travel with team in rental car and/or airplane.
Floating Requirements: Rotation to hospital on labor and delivery floor: Shift 7 am – 5:30 pm Assist with triage, in-patients and OR procedures for ultrasound guidance.
Unit and Facility Details: All clinicians must badge in and out at facility. MB3, 4th Floor- Sanford Women’s Ultrasound Diagnostic Center
