Travel Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

-If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).

Required Skills/Experience: IR Experience. Skills: Interventional Radiology, Vascular Studies/Procedures, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Pressure Ulcer Assessment/Prevention, Sheath Removal and Monitoring, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose), Radiation and Laser Safety, Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. Background Policy to be noted prior to submission: Please notify of BG or Nursys hits at time of submittal; can submit with BG/Nursys hits, but must present to client for written approval. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. Cert: ACLS , BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend req: Yes. Call Required: Yes - 30 minute arrival time when on call.

Floating Requirements: Candidates may be asked to float within hospital or to a sister hospital nearby.
