Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

Additional Details:

Shift & Schedule: A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.

No block schedules for any reason

Holiday Requirements: As needed

Monday - Sunday

Orientation: Bi-weekly orientations on Monday

Required Skill / Experience: Charge experience

Insulin drip and cardiac drips experience

EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable

Preferred Skill / Experience: Progressive care experience

Patient Population: Med Surg Tele pts,orthos,urology,ENT,GYN, Gen Surg,PC Patient

Age Range: Young adult to end of life

Patient Types: We care for the usual mixture of medical patients, telemetry patients and our surgical patients include orthopedics, urology, some gyn and general surgery.

We also care for some progressive care level patients.

These patients would be those who are thought to need a progressive level of care for just a short time but not felt to be unstable or imminently needing ICU level of care

Equipment Used on Unit: Alaris, Phillips Cardiac monitoring

Special Requirement: Public Transportation is not accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended.

Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April
