Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Emergency Department experience is required from last 3 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th).

Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).

No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem

Days/Eves/Nights Rotate

EOW & EOH – 36hrs.

Traveler will be expected to Rotate to our New Observation Unit when requested.

Skill Sets Required: General ED nursing skills including but not limited to: Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education.

Patient Population: All

Census: 230 visits/day

EMR (Charting System): EPIC – ASAP.

Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, for Day Rotate (7a-7p, 11a-11p, & 7p-7a) when requested. Rotation frequency: Low. Night position does not rotate.

BLS, ACLS, PALS from CHF or Military are also accepted

Must pass MGB Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam
