Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits.
Shift Notes: Weekends, holiday, and after 1800 on call
Weeknight/Call Requirements: 2 shifts/week, typically follows a day that they work
Weekend/Call Requirements: every 3rd weekend
Holiday/Call Requirements: May be asked to go in the Holiday Call Rotation

We actually have 2 rooms, one being a Hybrid. We do both interventional cardiac and peripheral. We do an equal amount of cardiac and peripheral cases and implants (pacers, dialysis caths, nephrostomies, Mediports, etc. ) I have an immediate need for a scrub tech assist, so RCIS would suffice, but if they had ARRT and were able to do both scrub and imaging that would be the best case scenario.
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cardac (PCI & diagnostic- LHC & RHC, pacemaker implants), vascular, IR cases, mediports and dialysis caths, & AAA Stenting (hybrid lab), Equipment: impellas, IABP, shockwave, IVUS, FFR, IFR, swans, roto
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 2 years of Cath Lab experience Need to be trained in scrub or imaging, or both.
Required Certifications: ARRT or RCIS via CCI
Must have some exposure to IR and peripheral vascular cases.
Must have experience with impellas, IABP, shockwave, IVUS, FFR, IFR, swans, roto
Number of shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 2-3 shifts with a preceptor
