Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

60 months of RN First Assist experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

CVOR and EVH experience required

Education/Skills: Successful completion of an RNFA program that meets the “AORN standards for RN first assistant education programs” and is accepted by the Competency and Credentialing Institute (CCI).

At least 5 years of OR experience required including both scrubbing and circulating.

Previous OR experience required for members of the CV team.
