Experience
48 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Years of experience? echo experience at a high acuity, fast paced facilities.

Patient Types: CAD, hypertension, post TAVR, TEE, pediatric patients (typically 3-4 patients/week)

Clinician-to-patient: 1/1

Average 8-10 scans per shift depending on schedule

ARDMS (RCDS) or CCI (RCS)

  • Skills required:
  • Experience with the patient types listed above; pediatric experience preferred.
  • Able to perform high-quality scans on a wide range of common echo patients.
  • Seeking a tech who consistently delivers high-level, quality imaging.

Soft skills: Flexible (having to float between clinic and hospital)

Floating: If yes, where? Between outpatient and inpatient setting.

Orientation: Hospital orientation, 2 shifts with preceptor

Weekend rotation: Echo techs are the only techs working the weekend and it’s 1 and 3 weekends currently. Every other weekend.

  • On call? If so, what is that schedule?
  • 1 weeknight call shift per week, 1 weekend every 4th weekend
  • 30 minutes response time

Holiday Expectations: 1-2 holiday contract

Shift times: Monday- Friday, rotating weekends 8 to 5

Schedule cycle: Will receive 4 week schedule 4 weeks in advance
