Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have acute care hospital experience in multiple service lines including surgery, NICU, Cardiac, Critical Care, ER

• Clinic / Outpatient, Infection Prevention Practices / Education / Surveillance, Antibiotic Stewardship / MDROs, Blood-borne pathogen exposure, Clostridium Difficile (CDI), Device reprocessing, Environmental cleaning, Equipment cleaning, Hand Hygiene, Healthcare Acquired Infections (HAIs), Infection Prevention employee education program, MRSA screening, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), Point of Care Testing practices, Respiratory / Cough etiquette, Sharps injury prevention / needle safety, Surgical Site infection (SSI), TB mask, Transmission-based precautions: Contact, Droplet, Airborne, Evidence-Based Guidelines, CDC guidelines, CMS State Operations Manual, National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN), The Joint Commission standards (TJC), Disease Process / Infection, Clostridium Difficile, ESBL, Influenza, Meningitis, MRSA, Pneumococcus, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), Streptococcus, Tuberculosis, Hospital / Inpatient, ICU, Medical Surgical, NICU / PICU, OR, Infection Prevention Infrastructure/Implementation, Identification of trends, Isolation / Reverse Isolation practices, National Patient Safety Goals / Core Measures, Surveillance and Disease reporting, Healthcare Personnel Practices, Illness reporting, Influenza vaccination administration, TB screening (new employees / annual), Vaccination Administration

• Will accept RN, microbiologist or masters in public health

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Ambulatory OR, Bugsy - Need knowledge Surveillance documentation

• Teaching Hospital Experience

Required Credentials:

• BLS: Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.

• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

• Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

• If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)

• Drivers License/State ID: Government issued photo ID.

• Parking Cost: No Fee

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Monday - Friday

• No holidays, calls, nor weekends

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request.
