Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Interventional Radiology experience is required from last 4 years.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions. Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits

Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Sched: Mon-Fri

Covers both vascular IR and Neuro IR.

Call requirement: First call- 1-2 call shifts a week (M-Th) plus every 3rd-4th weekend (F, Sa, Su). Back up call- 1 week (M-Su) of back up call every 4th week

Charting System: Epic and Cupid

Radiation badge: Required to be provided to traveler by agency; facility will not provide.

Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties-Vascular and Neuro

Experience or 'Must have' skills-Prior moderate sedation skills

Average # of scans/studies per day-20-30

They have to start IV's

Holiday/Call Requirements-Yes- this particular posting will require Thanksgiving call

What is call response time? 30 minutes
