Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

24 months of Operating Room experience is required.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a South Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling:
Call is one weekend per month and one weekday per week.
No blocked scheduling.

Floating Requirements: Will float to Downtown location and Outpatient Center if needed.

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience in DaVinci, total joint (Mako, Velys robot).
Dysrhythmia exam required - study guide available in Simplify library.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
2 years of Critical Care experience (preferred)
Completion of OR internship program (preferred)
Training: Successful completion of Periop 101 (preferred)

Preferred Credentials: SGNA Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (preferred)

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: General, GYN, bariatric, ENT, total joint, DaVinci robot

Unit Details: 8 ORs

Types of Patients on Unit: Neonates (0-4 weeks) Infant (1-12 months) Pediatrics (1-12 years) Adolescents (13-17 years) Adults (18-64 years) Geriatrics (65 years and older)
