Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 36 months of Pediatric Operating Room experience within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 3+ years of OR experience, current Pediatric OR experience. Circulates and Scrubs.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with robotics a plus

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Johns Hopkins pediatric ORs provide a full range of cardiac surgical services and general surgery Neuro, ortho, plastics, GYN, ENT, Ophthalmology, trauma, general,

Special Requests: No Block scheduling.

Shift & Scheduling: 7-5:30pm (M-F); Thursdays 8-6:30pm, rotational day off . Will do Call. The OR closes at night and on the weekend, on call covers when OR has closed – On call covers emergency cases. Call is scheduled when ORs are closed - evening/nights, weekends and holidays.
